The Old Tea House, Dorchester

A visit to the privately owned and run Old Tea House is a must for anyone spending time in Dorset's County town of Dorchester.

The present building is thought to date back to 1635 and was possibly the former home of an Abbott.

Our visit in 2013 led to a long period of historical documentation and paranormal research.
