The Infirmary, Weymouth

In 2015 we were invited to conduct a period of research at The Dorset Burger Company in King Street, Weymouth.

The building in recent years has been a nightclub, live music venue, and the Royal British Legion. Historically it was the Weymouth and Dorsetshire Eye Infirmary between 1871 and 1935, changing its name to the Weymouth & Dorset County Royal Eye Infirmary in 1901.
