Joint research at Woodchester Mansion

In August 2021 we teamed up with South Bristol Paranormal for a night of private research at Woodchester Mansion in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside.

This largely unfinished structure of historic importance due to its stunning gothic revival architecture dates back to 1858 and sits on the site of an earlier building called Spring Park.

The Grade 1 listed mansion was abandoned during construction leaving it in its unique state of preservation since the mid 1870s. More on the history of Woodchester Mansion, its conservation, and bat colony of special scientific interest can be found here at the Woodchester Mansion Trust website.

The night was a fascinating insight into this unique research location with a mutually trusted team of investigators. We have recently revisited for a second night of research and look forward to returning again in 2023 to help unravel further the mysteries of Woodchester Mansion.

Special thanks to Chris Howley our paranormal event host at the mansion for looking after us on both occasions.
